Michael graduated from Florida State University with a B.A. in History and a Minor in Philosophy, and from Stetson Law School with a Juris Doctor degree. He then attended the Graduate Tax Program at Boston University, receiving his LL.M. (Master of Laws) in Taxation. He is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the United States Tax Court. Being an experienced taxation litigator, Michael has tried numerous cases in US Tax Court, Federal Court, and State Court representing clients dealing with Internal Revenue Service (IRS) tax controversy matters. He is also an experienced negotiator for offers in compromise, installment payment agreements, penalty abatement, and release of federal tax liens and levies.
